Name and History
From Taos Pueblo in northern New Mexico.
Uses
Dry bean.
Description
Growth: Bushy plants that climb a little, but not very much or very tall. Productive.
Flowers: White.
Pods: Start out green and turn brilliant red as they mature. Easy to shell.
Seeds: Large and thick. Bright red and slightly lighter red, in overlaid streaks and speckles. Brightness of dry seed fades and browns when stored for multiple years.
