Name and History
Discovered by Russ Crow in 1977 in his Illinois garden, as an accidental cross of Cherokee Wax and Contender. Named for the Kishwaukee River in northern Illinois. First listed in the Seed Savers Exchange in 1980 by Russ Crow. Used to have a companion from the same cross named Kishwaukee Green.

Description
Growth: Bush.
Flowers:
Pods: Stringless.
Seeds: An unstable mixture of several colors and patterns, including: solid black, solid very dark brown (noticeably larger than the solid black ones), solid beige, streaked grey and black, and white with streaked grey and black spots.
