Name and History

Developed and named by Robert Lobitz of Minnesota, who first offered in the Seed Savers Exchange in 2005. Named after the city of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota.

Uses

Description

Growth: 85-130 days to maturity. Bush plant with short tendrils.

Flowers:

Pods: Glossy purple; about 5 inches long.

Seeds: Medium-small seeds. Light tan/cream with a light purple blush. Area around the hilum entirely tan, and has an orange ring around the hilum. The purple is an unusually light and bright hue.
