Name and History

Developed in Ottowa by Agriculture Canada and released in 1987. Previous names for it: OT84-12 and X973-8-8-4. Maple Glen's pedigree includes a whole lot of other soy varieties, and according to the USDA is:

Description

Growth: Maturity Group OO. 90-110 days to maturity; 96 on average. To 30 inches tall. High-yielding; tolerates cool weather.

Seeds: Medium-sized. 43% protein.

Uses and Opinions

Tofu or soymilk. Nutty flavor.
