I'm using the term "American Indian" instead of "Native American" because, as of a 1995 survey of indigenous Americans, that term was preferred by 49% of respondents, versus 35% for "Native American."  If that or any related terminology is out of date please let me know and I will make changes right away.

I'm using the term "American Indian" instead of "Native American" because, as of a 1995 survey of indigenous Americans, that term was preferred by 49% of respondents, versus 35% for "Native American."
